The Pelicans impressive seven-wicket victory, thanks to an unbeaten century to all-rounder Fraser Lucas, over Cobden sets up a tantalising final round finals race.
Tim Fitzgerald's side is one win behind two-time defending champions Pomborneit, who are in fourth.
His side would need to beat ladder-leaders Mortlake and hope the Bulls lose to second-placed Heytesbury Rebels to make the finals.
The Pelicans had a tough task following their bowling innings on Saturday after the Knights posted an impressive 205.

Lucas' unbeaten 106 from 141 deliveries and Fitzgerald's 60 not out from 64 helped Bookaar keep its final chances alive.
"It was a must win as we needed to win our last two games to make finals," Fitzgerald said about the victory.
"The most pleasing thing is that we chased a target down because in the last month we haven't been chasing well and now we have chased 205 down."
Fitzgerald said if not for one bit of brilliance in the field his side could've concede more.
"They (Cobden) came out and started well with Mattie Boyle hitting us around the park and we were struggling and tried different bowlers but then it took a Zach Sinnott screamer to get him out on 87," he said.
"That sparked us and we got four or five quick ones and ended it up at 200 but it was looking like they were going to be making 300 before that.
"Pretty much Zach plucked it one handed. It looked like it was going for six. It was one of the best outfield catches. He took another catch which was great but he sparked us."
Fitzgerald said his side was confident heading into the final round.
"We've built a bit of confidence but it's a big task against Mortlake and we've struggled against them to make runs as they're a good bowling side but I think we're up to it," he said.
Fitzgerald said his side would focus on its batting ahead of the clash with the Cats, who come off the bye.
In other games Camperdown's winless streak continued following their defeat to Terang. Heytesbury Rebels kept top spot in their sights with a win over Simpson and Pomborneit beat Noorat.
