A cold front developing south of the Bight will interact with the trough and reach southwestern Victoria around midday, then move eastwards across the State during the afternoon, clearing the east early Tuesday morning.
A new high pressure system moves over waters south of the Bight late Tuesday, and reaches south of Tasmania on Thursday as the trough deepens again over inland Australia.
