There was a session for 7-11 year olds and another for those 12-15 years.
"It's purely about having fun and playing netball and during the school holidays kids are often looking for something to do," Taylor said of the clinics.
"But we've had a lot of feedback...that it's been a really good way to get back into netball. And because we had such a delay last year in getting back on court, it's a really easy, fun introduction back into the sport."
Taylor said NV loved coming to the south-west.
"We run the community clinics every school holidays and we try to get down to Warrnambool once a year depending on the timing," she said.
She said the state's peak body realised the south-west was "a thriving netball community".
"It's a popular sport so it's really important we have a presence down here and continue that development," she said.
"But also just enable participation - that's our main goal. Making sure anyone who wants to play netball can find a place to play."
Taylor said NV would soon have its open selection trials for its talent academy program.
"We usually run a number of competitions throughout the year and use those competitions to talent identify players," she said.
"Those players are then invited to come and trial for or join Netball Victoria's talent academy."
Taylor said those events couldn't go ahead in 2020.
"This year we're just having open selection trials and anyone who wants to put their hand up and have a go, can come along," she said.
"That's exciting for us because there will be people that maybe haven't played netball; or who haven't played for a while, or who can't commit to a representative team - and that's usually where we select from."
Taylor said south-west players could attend those trials at Ballarat.
Emma Stacey, a South Warrnambool and Allansford product, was part of the talent academy program.
She is in the Geelong Cougars' under 19 netball team.
