Richardson, 31, has played for the club for 10 years, missing time due to work as a dairy farmer and a knee reconstruction.
He will notch his milestone against premiership contender Mortlake. He has set realistic expectations for the Lakers, who have lost their first eight matches of the 2020-21 season.
"Just to be competitive to be honest. We were quite competitive against Cobden, we bowled really well just to limit their runs," Richardson said of their last game.
"When they could've easily got away, we kept holding them back which was quite good."
Camperdown made last season's grand final but lost half-a-dozen players in the off-season.
Richardson said the club was building a new side and was pleased with the youngsters at its disposal.
All-rounder Harry Sumner and bowlers Ethan Coates and Jimmy O'Neil have impressed the skipper.
"It's been pretty disappointing (to be winless) but we have a lot of positives among the group with the younger players," he said.
"They're starting to get a bit of belief about themselves which is a good sign."
South West Cricket will have a break after Saturday's matches, returning on January 9.
