Former Western Bulldogs coach Brendan McCartney, current coach of North Ballarat, will run in-person sessions with students next year.
WC teacher Adam Dowie is thrilled to have someone of McCartney's experience on board.
"To get someone of such experience and knowledge about the game, and who has coached at the highest level, is going to be terrific for Warrnambool College and football in the area," he said.

Dowie explained McCartney would visit the school twice a term and mentor the SPP football students and the school's football academy participants.
Dowie said there were about 40 students in the SPP footy program and about 90 in the footy academy.
The sessions will either be during school or after school.
Meanwhile, Dowie said former Warrnambool College students Jay Rantall and Hugh McCluggage spoke to his year 8 and year 10 SPP classes on Wednesday.
Rantall now plays for Collingwood and McCluggage, the Brisbane Lions.
He said they talked to students about training, recovery and diet.
Dowie said Jamarra Ugle-Hagan, who is set be drafted Wednesday night, also started high school at Warrnambool College.
He's proud of the talents the school has produced and feels the football academy and programs are in great shape.
