The two day rally includes stationary engines, a vintage tractor pull, vintage tractor display and car boot sale.
The rally has grown from humble beginnings with a group of 19 engine enthusiasts meeting in 1978 and deciding to form a restoration club.
There are now more than 130 members.
Event organiser Val Higgins said the first open day was held in 1979 at the home of Malcolm and Anne Kempton in Bookaar.
But after 32 years the club was offered land at the former Cobden racecourse in Grayland Street. "We're encouraging everyone to come," Ms Higgins said.
She said the pride and joy of the group is a 13hp Ruston Hornsby oil engine size three class which is on display in the group's shed after some TLC.
The rally is on March 17 and 18 .
