Fresh from winning with Superleggera in a flat race over 3200 metres at Echuca on Tuesday, Ryan said Mazy Motion is poised to run well after winning her maiden last month.
"Mazy Motion is jumping up in class to a benchmark 64 but I'm quietly confident she'll measure up to the task," the Warrnambool Cup-winning trainer said.
"We've got the option of running Mazy Motion at Hamilton next Tuesday. I'll decide on Friday morning whether we go to Warrnambool that afternoon or wait for an easier benchmark 58 on Tuesday.
"Her last-start win was full of merit because it was her first run for 18 months. She's improved off that effort."
