Three new faces will join Glenelg Shire Council as the Victorian Electoral Commission revealed the results of the 2020 council election.

Michael Carr, Scott Martin and Jayden Smith will join the council for their first term.
Meanwhile Gilbert Wilson, Karen Stephens, Chrissy Hawker and former mayor Anita Rank have been reinstated.
Cr Wilson claimed the most first preference votes with 1733, closely followed by Cr Rank on 1702.
Cr Stephens received 1586 votes, Cr Martin was on 1469 votes, Cr Carr had 1041 votes, Cr Smith collected 935 votes and Cr Hawker received 878.
The council will bid farewell to Alistair McDonald and Geoff White who were unsuccessful in their campaign. Mr White has served on council for over 20 years.
