The spaces are being constructed at the south-west corner of the park, near the existing dog run area.
Moyne Shire director of Infrastructure and environment, Trevor Greenberger, said the project had been funded through the Australian government under the Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program.
The works follow on from the removal of Norfolk pine trees and the creation of formal parking between the football and cricket ovals earlier this year.
