Minister for Education James Merlino said the health and wellbeing of students and families is particularly important during this uncertain time.
"That's why we're providing tailored resources to help parents and carers support their children, and themselves," Mr Merlino said.
The government has also partnered with Raising Children Network and funded a 10 episode podcast called Raising Learners.
It features parenting tips from experts at organisations including the Murdoch Children's Research Institute, Career Education Association Victoria and eSafety Commissioner.
The podcast has themes drawn from common parenting questions received by the Department's coronavirus hotline and Parentline.
The first three episodes will be launched on September 1, with the remaining available throughout term three and four.
The podcast will feature on podcast apps and via the Raising Children Network.
