Young gun midfielders Josh Hickey and Sam Giblett and key-position back Christian Koroneos are playing with four-time reigning premier Port Douglas.
The Cobden senior players flew to Queensland about two months ago.
The 14-round season started on July 11.
Giblett and Koroneos featured in the Crocs' best on Saturday against Manunda Hawks.
The Crocs thumped the Hawks 15.17 (107) to 3.4 (22) at Port Douglas Sporting Complex.
Giblett booted a goal in the big win and has 15 for the season.

He and Koroneos have played in all six matches with the Crocs while Hickey has played four.
Port Douglas is undefeated and sitting on top of the ladder.
The Crocs will host the Cairns City Lions on Saturday afternoon.
The Lions are fourth on the table.
South Cairns, Cairns Saints, Centrals Trinity Beach and North Cairns are the other teams in the league.
Giblett told The Standard in June the trio had no plans to travel to Queensland until the call was made on June 10 to cancel the Hampden league senior season.
"It all happened in the matter of two weeks and we asked our work if we could get time off and everything went well and then Cobden were happy that we were playing some footy," he said.
