Cycling is one of six permissible activities during stage three restrictions. Walking, hiking, surfing, kayaking and yoga in the park are the others.
Club secretary Richard Adams said the Corona Cup 2.0 will start on Monday and running for the six weeks the restrictions are in place.

Adams said each challenge would be between five to 10 kilometres in distance.
"It will be similar to last time where we pick a segment on local roads and then start encouraging people to get out and have a ride on them," he said.
"They don't have to be a member they just have to sign up to Strava, which is free, and link up to Warrnambool Cycling Club on there.
"Then all they have to do is do the ride with a bike computer or they can track it on their mobile or fitness watch or whatever device they have."
Adams said the challenge was not about being the fastest but about encouraging people to get out and remain active during the lockdown.
"It motivates them to get out of the house and especially those working from home," he said.
"Cycling is a great way of keeping fit and helping with mental health. It also means they are getting in some fresh air by themselves, with one other friend or a family member.
"We are not about who is fastest it is encouraging people to get out and challenging themselves.
"They have a full week - Monday to Sunday - and then there will be prizes for anyone who competes in every event (at the end of the series).
"We're encouraging everyone to get out regularly instead of being fastest specially during the winter months."
Adams said the weather had been ideal for cyclists across the region.
"It's been a good winter and not as wet as most winters and it gives plenty of opportunity to people working from home to get out in afternoons and not in dark at 6am in the morning," he said.
