Ms Gleeson, a qualified nurse who works at the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne, will host an infant and child first aid course at the Illowa Hall.
The course will be held this Saturday from 9.30am to 1pm.
Ms Gleeson said the course will be limited to 20 people, which will allow for social distancing measures to be put in place.
"We will be following strict procedures around COVID-19, the safety of those who come along is a priority," Ms Gleeson said.
"The course will be really valuable for parents, grandparents and others who spend time caring for children and infants.
"It will cover illnesses and conditions that children and infants can face and it's a great chance for people to ask any questions they may have."
Ms Gleeson will conduct the first aid course as part of her work with the Rhythm First group, which she runs with former Warrnambool resident Alexandra Hussey, who is an advanced life support paramedic.
