TOP Warrnambool trainer Lindsey Smith shrugged off suggestions his unbeaten galloper Mystery Shot may be sold overseas after scoring a run-away victory in a $108,000 race over 1400 metres at Caulfield on Saturday.

From four starts Mystery Shot has won four races but Saturday's win with champion jockey Michael Rodd aboard was his most impressive.
Hee defeated Wicklow Town by more than two lengths with Paris back in third place.
Senior owner Brad Spicer said after the race he had fielded overseas offers for Mystery Shot following his other victories and he expected the same after Saturday but Smith was philosophical.
"We'll just wait and see what Brad and the other owners decide but for now it's onwards and upwards for Mystery Shot," Smith told The Standard.
"We'll head back to Caulfield on July 25 for a similar type of race and in the field that day will be his stablemate Adelaide Ace.
"We've always had a good opinion of Mystery Shot but to be honest it was a very, very good win on Saturday."
Smith believes Mystery Shot can build on the victory and have more success.
"I think he may have an extra couple of gears that we were not aware of," he said.
"I know it was a race in the middle of winter but I think he can measure up to better class races.
"I'm confident he'll run out a strong 1600 metres, once he matures.
"It was a top ride by Michael. We're lucky that we can put a world-class jockey on our horses."
Smith, who has stables in Warrnambool and Perth, said his pre-race worries about Mystery Shot jumping in weight from his last start victory proved no concern.
"It was a big effort to lump 61.5kgs and win so impressively," he said.
"I was worried before the race having to carry the extra five kilograms but there was no need to worry.
"He did it easily."
Mystery Shot was sold for $260,000 in 2018 at the New Zealand Yearling Sales.
The lightly-raced three-year-old has won more than $155,000 in stakemoney from his four wins.
