Cadel Howie and Eddie Worrall competed in the first round of the virtual National Junior Road Series last Sunday.
Howie, who is a bottom-age under 17 rider, finished 10th overall after completing all three stages of the virtual series opener. Worrall, who is top-age under 17, completed one round in 12th.
King was impressed with how the duo did in the highly competitive series.
"These are best kids from across the country and there was some really big names logging in too race and they have done really well," she said.

"Kids these days have so much competitive energy and to race against their peers across the country is a good way to gauge how they are going.
"Both set new personal records in their power output and it shows just how hard these juniors are racing online and how hard they are pushing themselves.
"Watching these races and the amount of power they have and what they can hold is phenomenal and that's brutal, it takes it out of you.
"For Eddie he has learnt that he loves racing outside and that's why he trains, while Cadel learnt he can do well on the (online) platform and is taking advantage of his power-to-weight ratio."
