The greens have been closed for seven weeks due to the coronavirus pandemic restrictions.
But late Tuesday, Bowls Victoria announced greens could open again due to the state government easing restrictions.

Here is a list of rules Dosser sent to City Memorial members on Wednesday.
- A register has been established for players to facilitate rink bookings, greens and a time. The register of attendees is kept, just in case a communicable illness were to occur.
- If you could please phone the club between 9am and 12noon to book a rink
- Your booking to play will commence on the hour (10am, 11am. 12noon, 1pm or 2pm) and you will need to finish your roll up 10 minutes before the hour is up.
- Due to a restriction limit of 10 people per hour per green - you cannot book for more than one hour to be fair to other members of the club. However, if at the end of your session there is a spare space on the booking register you may re-register for another hour. Please remember if you just pop in to have a roll-up or stay for the extra hour you must ensure you see the bar staff to place your name on the register.
- There will be a maximum number of 10 members per green - maintaining 1.5 metres between each other to respect social gathering restrictions.
- There is a booking sheet for all four greens.
- No more than four players per rink.
- Hand sanitiser has been provided in a stand at the entrance (from Cramer Street). Please use this on entry and when leaving.
- It is suggested that all players also have their own sanitiser and bring a drink bottle.
- The staff will be locking up the venue so please ensure that you are off the premises by 3pm.
- Our café will be open (for takeaway only), the same time as the greens so please feel free to patronise the club whilst you are here.
- Any purchase through the café will entitle the member to receive an entry to win a bar/café card to the value of $30 which will be drawn weekly over this three-week restriction period.
- People at a higher risk of severe illness (those aged over 70 and/or those with chronic medical conditions or compromised immune systems) are encouraged to remain at home whenever possible.
- Please note that payment of membership fees will be a requirement for members to practice on the greens.
- Please note the Alfresco area and members area cannot be used to sit and eat or drink.
