A Heywood store was broken into earlier in the week with chainsaws and generators stolen at an estimated value of $10,000 to $15,000.

Portland Sergeant Ash Rawlings said the incident occurred between 5pm on Tuesday, May 5 and 6am on Wednesday, May 6.
"The offenders forced entry into Heywood Ag Sales and Services on Edgar Street, Heywood," Sergeant Rawlings said.
"They took 15 chainsaws and two generators, an estimated worth between $10,000 to $15,000.
"We believe the incident is quite well planned for the chainsaws to be re-sold.
"If anyone sees any cheap chainsaws being sold or has information, contact the Portland Police station."
Portland detective are investigating the incident.
