TWO men are in hospital including one in his 70s after a two-car collision near Condah on Wednesday night.

Sergeant Simon Bourke, of Hamilton police, said a two-car crash involving a 54-year-old male and a 71-year-old male occurred near the Henty Highway and the Condah-Macarthur Road intersection around 5.20pm.
Sergeant Bourke said a vehicle towing a trailer of wood turning onto the highway and a southbound Toyota utility vehicle collided.
Emergency services remained at the scene until around 8pm.
An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said paramedics took the two males in stable conditions to Hamilton Base Hospital.
Sergeant Bourke said the Hamilton Highway Patrol was investigating the cause of the crash.
