Thirteen matches have been played on Australia's day of remembrance with in seven clubs in Koroit, South Warrnambool, Terang Mortlake, Camperdown, Cobden and regulars Portland and Hamilton Kangaroos playing on the day.
This season was meant to be the first time in the past eight that all clubs would battle for premiership points on the public holiday.
With coronavirus-enforced hiatus in place for season 2020 that won't be the case. But it won't stop The Standard from having a look back at some of the best Anzac Day games to give you a return to normal reporting of football during the season.

For most of the game it seemed it was going to be Portland's day and they would have their third victory in the annual fixture.
Heading into the final quarter six goals down and with only five majors on the scoreboard, the Kangaroos chances of victory were slim.
Inspired by best-on-ground medallist Kane Uebergang and Josh Pepper, they kicked six unanswered goals in an thrilling final term to give new coach Matt Dunn his maiden victory.
But it wasn't without controversy. Portland ventured forward in the dying stages and Aaron Shepherd was running into an open goal as the siren sounded.
The goal was initially counted, signalling a Tigers' victory, before the decision was reversed.

This game was by far the highest combined total score for an Anzac Day encounter.
Cobden jumped out early with a five-goal to nothing first term and held its nerve throughout the next three quarters as the Magpies returned fire in a 33-goal thriller.
In the end it would be the Bombers' victory thanks to a combined 10 goals to Marcus Hickey (four), Tim Horan and Brody Mahoney (three).
Magpie Daniel Casey had six of his own to ensure his side didn't go down without a fight.
Tiger's final bite
Season: 2014, round three
Final result: Portland 9.9 (63) def Hamilton Kangaroos 6.10 (46)
Best: Portland: M. Bunworth, S. Clark, B. Malcolm, C. Woodford, L. Crane, L. Van Heugten
Hamilton Kangaroos: J. Meulendyks, B. Thomas, T. Meulendyks, R. Morris, C. Youngman, J. Pepper
Goals: Portland: J. Moody 2, M. England 2, L. Crane , M. Bunworth , S. Clark , P. Young , J. Myles
Hamilton Kangaroos: H. Douglas 2, B. Huf , R. Newell , J. Holt , B. Thomas
THERE was an ironic twist in this one with Portland's former coach Jarrod Holt lining up as Hamilton Kangaroos coach for the first time against his old side, coached by the club's first coach Jake Myles. Holt, who had been overlooked for another year at the Tigers, struck first with a goal in second term.
Myles, who was controversially sacked as Kangaroos coach without a game being played, had the last laugh though.
He ran down Kangaroos defender Roger Morris in the final term and from the resultant free kick he sealed the Tigers' 17-point win with the last goal of the match.
