The Blues Business Boost, the brain child of open netball co-captain Sarah Cowing, is a way for the club's players to support one local business a week during the coronavirus pandemic.
Sarah's husband Sam, the Blues' football skipper, said it was a way for them to support the places that have supported south-west football teams over the years.
"With our own footy club shut we were supporting them with buying takeaway meals but then as a collective in a Facebook group of the footy and netballers we decided to support other businesses," he said.
"Everyone gets takeaway at least once a week and we thought we would collect all those players together and give a massive boost for one business at a time.

"We then get players to post a photo so if they get pick up it's out the front with the meal or if they get it delivered it's them sitting around the table.
"That way we can post it on the club page and supporters know what we have been up to."
In the first week of the drive it was Logan's Cafe Restaurant and this week they all jumped over to Bundy's for their takeaway meal.
Cowling said the drive has now extended from just the players to include members of the club.
Each week the Blues' Facebook page will post which local businesses it is asking members to support.
Cowling said it was a small thing the playing group could do to support the community and make a small difference during this time.
