PETER Chow admits he's having a throw at the stumps running Paul's Regret in the $120,000 VOBIS Gold Dash at Caulfield on Saturday but the Warrnambool trainer is quietly confident the lightly-raced three-year-old will run a creditable race.

Paul's Regret resumes after an unplaced run at Flemington in January.
The daughter of Canford Cliffs kicked off her career with a second placing at Geelong in August before winning her next start at Moonee Valley in December.
"She's got a bit of ability but this is her toughest task from five runs," Chow said.
"Paul's Regret is paid up and qualified under the VOBIS scheme to run so we've decided to run her.
"She's drawn an awkward barrier in 12 but that may end up suiting her depending on the pattern of racing. She had a track gallop at Camperdown over 850 metres on Tuesday and went well.
"We'll see how she runs on Saturday and then we may have a run at Warrnambool next month."
Fellow Warrnambool trainer Lindsey Smith has Achernar Star running in the Bel Esprit Stakes at Caulfield while the powerful in-form training combination of Ciaron Maher and David Eustace has numerous runners across three states on Saturday.
Impressive two-year-old colt Holyfield will try and add another victory to his imposing record when he runs in the group one Champagne Stakes at Randwick. Holyfield has won three of his four starts.
