The south-west's primary youth and family services provider is now offering contact with existing clients through a new reception and triage system, which transfers people directly to the service required.
Brophy Family and Youth Services chief executive officer Francis Broekman said when drop off and pickup of goods and materials was required, there would be strict social distancing precautions in place to keep clients and staff safe.
"Ensuring our workforce stay safe and healthy is a priority to enable our clients and the community to continue to be able to access much-needed services," he said.
"We anticipate an increased need in the coming months and are preparing to respond."
Brophy team leader for Housing and Linkages Services Leah McDonald said all current clients had access to a phone.
"Brophy workers are in daily contact with our existing clients, at this time we are able to maintain contact with them all," she said.
"Some clients, especially new clients, who are using the Warrnambool Emergency Relief Network - such as community meals and other housing services - are able to make calls to us when they visit these services".
Mr Broekman thanked the community for their patience and understanding as staff adapt to new ways of delivering services.
"We remain dedicated to delivering our services and supporting our community through these unprecedented times," he said.
"We sincerely ask that the community strictly follow the public health directives from the commonwealth and state governments to stop the spread of COVID-19.
"We must all act together to protect our community. Although it is definitely not business as usual, there has never been a more crucial time for us to come together, support each other and be there for our community."
Anyone in need of assistance is urged to contact Brophy Family and Youth Services on 1300 BROPHY (1300 276 749).
