The Heywood and Portland export signed with the AFL powerhouse on Tuesday night after training with the club for the past two weeks.
Jones, 21, joined West Coast via the Supplemental Selection Period (SPP).
His mum Sue Lovett told The Standard last month the ex-Geelong rookie wanted to show the Eagles "he's got the goods and prove he can play footy".

Jones spent three seasons at the Cats, playing seven senior games.
He was drafted via the Hampden league in 2016 after impressing Geelong recruiters with a best-on-ground interleague performance.
