BREAK: The barflies were all talking about one of the construction volunteers at the Port Fairy Folk Festival site. The flies said the hardworking general, who has been in control of construction for decades at the Folk Festival work site, took Tuesday off for a day of lawn bowls.

It's wonderful to see that other volunteers could step up to the plate and give the boss a day away from the busy construction site.
POSITIVE: Great news that Port Fairy's Railway Place will be full of activities during the Folk Festival next month. The introduction of market stalls should give the area a real lift over the festival. This year's festival is from March 6 to 9.
RELAX: Macarthur's Music In The Vines Festival is on Saturday. The music festival is a one-day event, with a great line-up of regional artists, local food, and wines from the Henty Wine Region. It's a family-friendly festival and kicks off at 11am and closes at 11pm.
The event is a wonderful prelude to the Port Fairy Folk Festival.
