Maroon defeated Warrnambool Gold 74-56 at Dennington Bowls Club on Tuesday to book a spot in the decider in a fortnight.
Gold will face cross-town rivals and defending champions City Gold in next week's preliminary final. City defeated Koroit Orange 75 to 47.
Timboon's Barry Bowen, who is also the club's secretary, said it was exciting to see the side returning to the competition's deciding fixture.
"We are rapt," he said. "We are a little club and we are going to enjoy every minute of it and look forward to playing whoever we play, whether it is Warrnambool or City.
"I think it's been 13 years since we were in a grand final so this year made a little bit of difference having combined men and women as with every club.
"We are just proud where we have got to and we will do our best to win in a fortnight."

Bowen said there were some positives and negatives about the week off next Tuesday.
"It would have been great if the grand final was next week but we intend on continuing our practicing," he said.
"Over the next week we have got some of the men in the Saturday (pennant) finals as well so it depends on where games end up that will determine where we practice.
"We have all talked about that and we will all be putting our best foot forward."
City Gold manager Fay Duffield was pleased with how her side played.
"We did really well and we were up against it today and the guys did a great job," she said after the convincing win.
"We play Warrnambool next week and that will be a tough one but the guys are up there and hopefully we will get there (grand final)."
Duffield said the key to the victory was "consistency and never giving up" despite a fast start from Koroit.
The last time the two sides met in round 10 Warrnambool Gold came away with a 24-shot victory.
City claimed their other match this season, winning by six shots in round one.
