Prize Lad makes his debut for Drever in a 1400-metre race after having 14 starts for Rebecca Kelly.
"We picked Prize Lad up in the online auction," he said.
"We've had him for three weeks and he's impressed with his trackwork. He put in a solid track gallop at Terang on Saturday morning and ran well in a trial at Terang a couple of weeks ago.
"Prize Lad is going into the race very fit."

Jockey Dylan Dunn, who rode Prize Lad on two occasions for Kelly, has the mount on Wednesday.
"Dylan chased the ride which is a good sign," Drever said. "Dylan said Prize Lad goes alright. I'm just hoping the change in environment to Terang is going to help the horse.
"He's stabled on-course which I believe is a real advantage when the races are here. He's a big strong horse and may have taken a bit of time to mature.
"I'm a bit worried about barrier one but I'm hoping Dylan can get a bit of a seat in the run."
Prize Lad's stablemate Verando runs in a maiden plate over 1200 metres.
"Verando has had a few minor leg issues but he's good now," Drever said.
"He's been a bit unlucky in a few of his races."
The first of eight races is scheduled to begin at 1.15 pm.
