Keith Ellerton, 75, of Allansford, fronted Warrnambool Magistrates' Court last Friday for a committal mention hearing.
Magistrate Mark Stratmann rejected The Standard's application to view the charge sheets.
The matter was adjourned until April 24 for another committal mention.
Mr Ellerton was charged on summons.
