The Warriors have players, a team manager and now the club is hoping to find a leader to take control of its first women's side.
Club president Jason Moloney said expressions of interest were still open but it wants to make a decision on a coach by mid-next week.
If it can't, the club will have to withdraw from the Western Victoria Female Football League's senior competition, leaving a number of players without a team for season 2020.
"We've had a couple that are willing to help but only in a part-time capacity," Moloney said. "We are looking for a person to be that central point of our open women's team.
"We need it for that initial first year or two for the players to have that go-to person. We're keen for anyone out there that would like to be part of a foundation women's side.

"It's a once-off opportunity to build a side from scratch and mould it any way they want. It can also be a stepping stone for anyone wanting to get into coaching.
"They'll have the club's support. We have got a team manager and we're confident we can get the players.
"We have all the mechanisms in place, we're just looking for a person to drive training and the playing side of things."
AFL Western District operations coordinator Alicia Drew is working closely with the Warriors to ensure they can field a side when the competition kicks off on April 19.
"We haven't given them a hard cut-off and we're working with them to find someone," she said. "There's enough demand for players in region to have a team.
"We want to ensure that they get on the park and I've been working with Jason to track people down and shaking the tree to see who we will find."
Drew echoed Moloney's thoughts on the position being a perfect opportunity for an eager first-time coach.
