The club lodged an appeal with the AFL Western District commission against the points it was reduced in season 2018. It went from an allocation of 45 to 42 points.
Last year the Warriors had 42 team points.
The commission approved the reinstatement of 45 points on Friday.
Only Russells Creek (46) has more player points than the Warriors.
AFL Western District commercial and operations manager Matthew Ross explained the club shouldn't have lost points based on the relevant rule in the AFL Victoria handbook.
He said clubs could lose points if they experienced both "sustained success and multiple premierships".
Ross said while Old Collegians - which has finished top four in the past three seasons - had experienced sustained success it had not won premierships.
He said the Warriors were reinstated their points because they had not fulfilled both parts of the criteria for receiving a cap reduction.
Ross said Merrivale's recent appeal was also approved for the same reasons.
Reigning premier Kolora-Noorat and defeated grand finalist Nirranda both have 42 points and Allansford, Dennington, Merrivale, Panmure, South Rovers and Timboon Demons all have 44.
