Ms Reeves has been a passionate voice helping to increase all-abilities access to areas such as the Portland foreshore. In 2019 she successfully campaigned for an access hoist to be installed at the Portland Swimming Pool.
Volunteer Keith Millard was awarded the Glenelg citizen of the year award for his 60 years of service to the Merino-Digby community. Glenelg Shire mayor Anita Rank said Mr Millard was a respected leader and "a quiet achiever".
Portland's Cheryl Ford was named senior citizen of the year and the Mission to Seafarers the community group of the year.

But the selfless actions of friends, family, neighbours, strangers, local groups and volunteer organisations have inspired us and strengthened the bonds of community.
