Bobby Frost, known to many as simply 'Frosty', is 86 years old and has been at the club since it first started; nearly 60 years ago.
As a volunteer in the pits, Frosty doesn't get much of a chance to watch the drivers and doesn't have a tip for the winner.
His main concern throughout the weekend is the safety of the drivers and making sure everyone is safe at the track.
His favourite memory is when he and his wife Sue used to drive at the track.
"I drove in one of the heavier classes back in the day and my wife was a big part of the ladies races," he said.
"We always had a good time racing."
Frosty is a familiar face across Warrnambool as he also volunteers at the racing club and with the Country Fire Authority.
In the canteen, juggling thousands of sandwiches and salad rolls while serving hot food and drinks to the hungry punters and stars of the track, Mark Healey is back for another hectic weekend.
After 18 years, you would think Mr Healey would be sick of trading in watching the racing for bread and butter, but he is not one to complain.
"Lately I haven't seen much of the action but there's a screen inside so we don't miss out," he said.
"This is the world's best and I get to see a lot of people including pit side.
"My favourite part is just the people."
Every morning of the speedway meet Mr Healey is in the canteen preparing the sandwiches and salad rolls that keep punters happy and full.
He also takes it in turns of serving the hot food and rinks.
"We go through a lot," he said.
"Our breaks depend on how busy we are.
"But that's the weekend and we do it because we love speedway."
Mr Healey's tip for who will win the weekend is a mystery to us all.
"Someone better that I said you can't pick the winner," he said.
"Everything has to go right for the whole weekend.
"It's luck."
