Now the Quick Sixes are heading to the Port Campbell Hotel for the first time with their swamp rock show one punter described as "Tarantino meets Morricone and James Bond in a seedy bar".
Band mastermind Dave Cameron said the group had a huge list of songs and could adapt to the mood of the crowd.
"We play mostly 1950s and 60s surf-rock songs, with the set being about half instrumentals," he said.
"There are also some excerpts from horror movies and spy movies from that era, and some original swampy-garage rock songs.
"We are heading down with our boards and instruments, we hope to catch a wave and put on a good pub show."
The Quick Sixes play at the Port Campbell Hotel from 9pm on Saturday.
