
UPDATED 11.45am: Good news - the CFA has confirmed the fire at Garvoc is now under control.
The CFA spokeswoman said the tractor was cutting grass when it caught fire.
EARLIER: A grass fire is burning in Garvoc.
A Country Fire Authority spokeswoman said six appliances were working to contain the Coyles Road blaze.
"It's a small grass and scrub fire," she said.
"It's a small fire, but it's still going."

The fire started about 11am.
The spokeswoman confirmed it started from a tractor and had spread to surrounding grass.
She said a number of fire crews had been called, including the Garvoc and The Sisters brigade, two appliances from Mortlake and two from Terang.
"There's quite a lot of smoke around," the spokeswoman said.
