In Healey's second solo exhibition at the gallery; Coastal Horizons, she explores her local surrounds throughout the exhibition in which all but one pieces were completed in 2019.
"These are all Warrnambool landscapes, the furthest landscape being The Crags at Yambuk," she said
"I love the fast-moving weather of Warrnambool and the beauty it brings.
"It makes for the most interesting cloud formations, sunsets and sunrises.
"This exhibition is a celebration of our coastline."
Healey's colourful, whirling pieces may be familiar to many as her deigns cover the Warrnambool tour bus' sides.
Though she's painted all her life, throughout the past five years Healey has invested significantly more in her creative pursuits.
"Over the years I've developed my style and improved," she said.
"I like to load up my brush with colours and use a swirling technique so when you look closely you can see the different layers of colour.
"I also use a palette knife to push the colours onto the canvas.
"The F Project has been supportive in my work and given me a place to make lots of friends.
"The art community in Warrnambool helped with with mentoring and support. It's a lovely community and the arts scene is thriving."
Healey has progressed her style through support from other south-west artists as well as guidance from Warrnambool artist Glen Morgan.
The landscape artist will spend a lot of time at The F Project throughout Coastal Horizons including painting in-situ at various dates throughout the exhibition beginning on the morning of Wednesday, January 8.
Through the Warrnambool School of Art, Healey will hold a workshop at The F Project on January 18 to teach others about landscape paintings. Bookings can be made through the Warrnambool School of Art website.
Healey's work has been sponsored by Maddens Lawyers, Darrian Office Choice and Spectrum.
Coastal Horizons will officially open on Saturday, January 11 at 6pm with guest speaker Melissa Tuliranta from Tangaroa Blue.
The F Project is open from 10am-4pm from Wednesday-Sunday.
