The youngster has accepted an invitation to drive for the Keith Kunz/Curb Agajanian Motorsports team in the United States Auto Club (USAC) National Midget Series in 2020.
The up-and-coming racer also recorded an All Star Circuit of Champions tour win in June at Orrville Ohio's Wayne County Speedway.
Kofoid will drive for South Australian brothers Darryl and Michael Downing in their S97 car when the Classic runs from Janurary 24-26.
Mills said he was thrilled to get Kofoid back to the south-west after the number of American drivers in the Classic dropped earlier this year.

Mills said he expected about 10 American drivers to take to the track at the Classic.
