Warrnambool born-and-bred James Kol, Will Ryan and Josh Brown created Raglan Presents to bring more music acts to the south-west and have booked Client Liasion to headline their day festival on January 26.
The trio is excited to bring the alternative pop band to the city over the summer long weekend.
"James and I went to university in Melbourne and Geelong and we saw the music experiences available there compared to Warrnambool," Ryan said.
"Over the January long weekend there's heaps on in other major cities and people tend to leave Warrnambool to go to these festivals.
"Hopefully now they'll stay around the city and we can bring people here as well."
From 3pm on January 26, The Cally Hotel car park will come alive with a large lighting, sound and stage production with local musicians supporting the popular headline act.
Client Liaison have become a household name in recent years thanks to their dance tracks, 1980's vibes and Australian pop culture references.
Their 2016 track World of Our Love was certified gold by the ARIAs and the band became a staple on festival bills across the country.
Frontmen Monte Morgan and Harvey Miller also branched out to create a clothing line as their fashion was in such high demand from their fans.
Raglan Presents hopes their January long weekend car park party will be the first of many.
"A lot of people complain about there not being enough events here," Kol said.
"Hopefully this is successful and it can happen more often.
"We are excited to start bringing music for the younger generation to Warrnambool."
The team hopes the event will be well-received by the city.
"If Warrnambool supports this event, we will be able to bring more acts like Client Liaison to the region," Brown said.
"We think this event will be huge for Warrnambool and we're really excited to do it."
Raglan Presents - Client Liaison DJ set will hit The Cally Hotel car park on January 26.
The event is all-inclusive for people aged 18 and over.
