The 16-year-old was one of five Warrnambool-based riders who secured Victorian plates, which were awarded to the top-eight placegetters at the BMX Victoria State Championships at Casey last weekend.
Jephcott, Amarli McKenna (second in 15 girls cruiser, fourth in 20 inch), Troy Roberts (third in 30-34 men), Dakodah Roberts (fourth in nine girls), Xavier Keilar (fourth in 10 boys) and Pedr Vincent (eighth in 45-49 men) all picked up plates.
Harrison Laurie (10 boys), Zakary Vincent and Zayne Roberts (six sprocket boys) also netted impressive state title results, narrowly missing the top-eight.

Jephcott, who has been riding for nine years, dedicates her spare time to training as she chases her dream of representing Australia.
"I've been training for years to get the number one (Victorian plate)," the Warrnambool College student said.
"I train seven days a week split between the track and the gym.
"At the track I work on gates and straight work and in the gym is cardio and weights to build my strength."
Jephcott is back in training to prepare for the national titles in March.
Warrnambool BMX Club president Darren Mollenoyux said the city was well represented at the state titles.
"We only had a few who just started this year so a lot of them don't have a lot of experience but they all performed exceptionally well," he said.
"The Warrnambool region is well represented and it (the sport) is moving forward very well."
