Organised by the Koroit Irish Festival and Koroit Lions Club, this will be the fourth time the event has been staged.
The historic Koroit Railway Station will be the venue, with the event to move indoors to the Koroit Theatre should wet weather hit.
A call on a venue change will be made on the day.
Headline act for the day will be Angela Kenna and Keelan Mast, who will use their extensive music network in Warrnambool to bring even more talent to the stage.
This will include a performance from the Warrnambool Holiday Actors' Mamma Mia cast.
Also performing will be former Australian Danny Boy champion Barbara Brooks, Koroit students Lenny Carey and Lucinda McLean, and school choirs.
Koroit Irish Festival president Adele MacDonald, said the family-oriented day would bring the community together.
"We are very excited to bring Christmas cheer to the town and get together as one to celebrate the start of the festive season," Mrs MacDonald said.
"There will be many traditional and new age carols to be sung.
We have some wonderful talent to showcase and an Irish Santa will be making a guest appearance.

"We have some wonderful talent to showcase and an Irish Santa will be making a guest appearance.
"It's great to have a partnership with the Koroit Lions Club to be able to put this event on for the community."
The day will start at 3pm and go through to 5pm, with entry free.
Mrs MacDonald said a sausage sizzle would be held with proceeds to the Warrnambool to Port Fairy Rail Trail committee of management.
"The rail trail committee does such a wonderful job in improving and maintaining the rail trail," she said.
"It's such a joy to be able to host the carols in such a beautiful setting.
"We encourage everyone to bring picnic rugs or chairs, food, drinks and a heap of Christmas cheer.
"Families can take advantage of the great location by walking or riding along the Rail Trail to the event.
"If it is wet, the theatre is another great venue so the show can go on."
