The philanthropist, businesswoman, former Western Bulldogs vice-president and AFLW ambassador spoke about her many areas of interest including medical research, children's health, women in the trade industry and, of course, football.
"It's important to spread the message and bring information to regional areas, rather than have people travel to Melbourne," Ms Alberti said.
"I like to be out with real people and hear their stories.
"I think this a great initiative by the council.
"I hope my presentation will encourage people to be the best they possibly can. We can be our own worst enemy, especially women, and I hope people can learn to get the best out of themselves."
The event ended with a question and answer sessions with Warrnambool City Council chief executive Peter Schneider.
Ms Alberti has spoken twice before in Warrnambool and said she enjoyed visiting the area.
Ms Alberti and her husband Colin North were especially grateful to Callaghan Motors and Elite Cars and Trucks for fixing their car at the last minute.
Warrnambool City Council's economic development officer Edward Ivermee was thrilled with the outcome of the first Great South Coast Speaker Series.
"We've been really happy with the uptake of the series," he said.
"It's been a great opportunity to see some interesting people.
"We've had two sell-out events out of four and we've received some great feedback.
"If the funding is available and the collaborations between Moyne and Corangamite shires continues we'd definitely love to bring the region the series next year."
