Warrnambool College's intermediate girls side finished runners-up to Templestowe College on Tuesday after going down in the final 51-31.
The team won two of their pool games to progress through the group stage and into the final.
Emmanuel College's year eight boys side were defeated by Rowville Secondary College in their final, which ended 46-30, on Monday.
The side won all three of their pool games to progress through to the decider.
Warrnambool College's intermediate and year seven boys also made it through to the state finals.

The intermediate finished fourth in the group stage while the year seven side was second.
Emmanuel College's senior boys just missed out on the final by percentage while the year seven girls time at the finals ended with a fourth place finish.
Mercy Regional College Camperdown's senior girls team finished the group stage in fourth.
St Joseph's Primary School's boys and girls team concluded the group stages of the state finals in second and third respectively.
