The Killarney born and bred signer has come a long way after being named a finalist in triple j's unearthed High competition in 2018.
This year alone the 19-year-old has taken to the BIGSOUND, St Kilda Festival and Queenscliff Music Festival stages and supported the of John Floreani, Rat!Hammock, Ball Park Music, Tia Gostelow and Lahey.
Her latest track was produced by John Castle, who's previously worked with Angie McMahon and Vance Joy, and asserts the teenager as a rocker.
"I had been sitting on the pre-chorus for a while and I wasn't sure where it was heading," she said of writing the song.
"One day I came at it with a fresh approach and it fell out.
"Sometimes you can sit so long on a chorus and work on all the little bits and the melodies. But I find when it comes to me straight away, often that's when it'll be a good song."
Schipper describes the track as "indie rock-meets-pop with a country influence" and is backed by her band who she began working with at the start of the year.
The strong female vocals against the big crunchy guitar chords and percussion gives the track an edge we haven't heard from Schipper before.
Take Out The Trash is definitely the type of song you put on in the car and rock out to by yourself to sort out your problems. And that's exactly what Schipper wants.
"I wrote Take Out The Trash at the start of this year when I acknowledged my mental health for the first time and actively started doing things to help improve it," she said.
"Sometimes it's the little things ... a clean room, or seeing your friends that can make a huge difference."

The last three months have been some of Schipper's biggest yet. But she isn't letting the pressure of the music industry get to her, in fact, she's thriving.
"Touring with Alex and her band was amazing and they gave us so much support and advice," she said.
"I'm really enjoying this time and working makes me the happiest.
"I love everything about my job, not just the musical side but the website building, social media and designing my posts.
"I'm very excited about Take Out The Trash and to keep the ball rolling."
If you're in Melbourne this weekend you catch Schipper supporting Great Gable at the Northcote Social Club on Saturday and Sunday nights. She will also bring the new year in with performances at The Penny Black, Melbourne on January 10, The Workers in Geelong on January 11 before three performances in Manly, Sydney and Wollongong.
