EMERGING Portland midfielder Harris Jennings will switch from wearing yellow and black to green and gold after making a move to Geelong Football Netball League club Leopold.
The 19-year-old is one of two new recruits, joining with Fletcher Wilson (St Josephs), as the Lions gear up for their quest for a second GFL premiership in 2020.
Jennings, who played for the Greater Western Victoria Rebels in the NAB league in 2018, enters the club after a standout first full year of senior football with the Tigers.
His good form earned him a selection to play in the under 19 Vic Country game against the Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA) in June.
The tall ball winner continued to shine brightly as the year went on and was rewarded with an invite to play in the Victoria Young Guns game in July.
Jennings, who was named in the Tigers' best in all but two of his 16 games this season, would go on to win the club's senior best and fairest.
Leopold's year concluded with a elimination final loss to St Mary's after they finished the home and away season in fourth.
