Woodford - who is without a home turf pitch - has a long-standing agreement to use Koroit's Jack Keane Oval for its division one fixtures.
The Standard understands the Warrnambool and District Cricket Association stepped in after Koroit and Woodford couldn't agree terms for this season.
WDCA chairman Gordon McLeod said discussions were ongoing but an agreement was in place until the end of the season.
"It's still ongoing but because the schedule is set, we have to have (Woodford) fixtures played at Koroit," he said.
"Koroit has been happy to have them played there for now."
"They'll certainly be played there in the interim."
McLeod hoped a finalised agreement would be set "as soon as possible".

Woodford is yet to play at Jack Keane Oval but is scheduled to play Brierly-Christ Church there on November 2.
The Eels, which won three-straight premierships under coach John Houston between 2014 and 2017, will then play three-consecutive fixtures at Koroit from round five to seven.
They will play just one fixture on Jack Keane Oval post-Christmas - a two-day clash with Dennington starting on January 19.
Woodford is set to face reigning premier Russells Creek on Saturday.
