A man told his mum he was dying when she found him wounded on a Queensland property with a sword and a knife nearby, a court has been told.

Two men went on trial on Monday for the murder of Gary Ryan, 43, at a Mundubbera property in 2016.
Stephen Peter Crump and Trevor Spencer both pleaded not guilty to murder in the Brisbane Supreme Court.
Crown prosecutor Danny Boyle told the court Mr Ryan was found by his mother lying near a toilet on a property where he fixed cars.
He had head and neck injuries, and told his mum he was dying.
She found a sword and small knife nearby.
The court heard his daughter tried to keep her father conscious until paramedics arrived.
Mr Ryan was taken to hospital but could not be saved.
At the start of the trial, which continues, Spencer pleaded guilty to manslaughter, but the Crown did not accept that lesser plea.
