More than 60 adult riders are expected to race in Sunday's TP180 as excitement builds for the club's yearly marquee event.
Warrnambool Mountain Bike Club president Graham Wines said good weather laid the foundation for a high standard of racing.

"The track rides really, really well," he told The Standard.
"It's worked out well with a bit of rain, as that helps, and we're just hoping the forecast clears up for Sunday now."
Wines tipped reigning three-hour solo winner Simon Crispe and current three-hour pairs champions Shaun King and Matt Burchell as strong chances.
"There will be quite a few riders who want to beat them this year," Wines said.
Junior races - the first known as dirtmasters - begin at 9.30am while senior races begin at 11am.
