At 7am it was 7.2 degrees in the city, felt like 2.0 and we've had 10.4mm of rain since 9am yesterday.
Those showers will become less likely this afternoon, but it's going to be windy with a gale warning in place for today and tomorrow.
South-west sheep graziers are warned that showers and cold, gusty west to south-westerly winds are expected today with the risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.
There's also the chance of a thunderstorm in the morning and early afternoon with gusty winds and possible hail in the morning and early afternoon.
Winds will be west to north-westerly 25 to 35 km/h tending west to south-westerly 25 to 40 km/h in the morning then becoming light in the late evening.

A cold front over central Victoria will cross the rest of the state this morning, leaving a cold and unstable west to south-westerly airstream in its wake.
A weak high pressure ridge will develop over Victoria Thursday night, but another cold front will reach western Victoria on Friday afternoon and central districts at night.
This front will move away to the east on Saturday as a high pressure system develops over the Bight, with the high slowly moving towards Victoria on Sunday.
There's also rain tomorrow and Saturday with tops of 16 and 13 followed by a cloudy 14 on Saturday.
