Community: Cobden Spring Festival kicks off with a special edition of Spring Festival bingo at the Cobden Bowling Club. Kids can also wet a line at the picturesque Lake Cobden with the junior fishing competition from 5.30pm.

Lanterns: Koroit's Light the Night will illuminate the railway station to help raise money for the Leukemia Foundation, from 6.30pm. The night will include a sausage sizzle and entertainment, with a performance from piper Merran Moir. A lantern parade will take place at dusk.
Saturday
Community parade: The 24th Cobden Spring Festival street parade will hit the street at 11.30am, with market stalls, buskers and a range of family-friendly activities.
Mental Health: The Let's Talk Bike and Rod Run will show off their vehicles at Lake Pertobe from 8am-10am, before heading to Woolsthorpe via Halls Gap.
Community Cancer Expo: The South C Dragons' dragon boat team is holding a come-and-try day (for people over 18 years old) from 10.30am-1pm on the Hopkins River, during the Community Cancer Expo at Deakin University.
Art Auction: Warrnambool and District Community Hospice are holding a charity art auction at Deakin University from 6pm.
Environment: Trust for Nature is holding a guided walk through the Ralph Illidge Sanctuary Reserve Naringal East, as part of the Spring into Nature program. The sanctuary is home to over 100 species of native plants plus the long-nosed potoroo, powerful owl, rufous bristlebird and the white goshawk. From 12pm.
Night of Music: Music Homestead are holding a country, folk and blues night from 7pm, at 239 Mortlake Framlingham Road.
Tribute: Rebecca O'Connor will be simply the best in the Tina Turner show at Warrnambool Bowls Club from 6pm.
Sunday
Pedal power: The Warrnambool Mountain Bike Club TP180 is on at Thunder Point. A 30-minute junior (under 12) race starts from 10am, and the senior race starts at 11am.
Woolsthorpe in Wonderland: The Woolsthorpe Primary School country fair is running from 10am to 2pm including live entertainment, delicious food, the famous pancake stall, rides for the kids, homemade pantry fillers at the produce stall, face painting for the kids and a fabulous plant stall. Lego: South West Brick Club will inspire imaginative builders with the opportunity to make creations of every size and colour from 10am at Warrnambool's Christ Church Parish Hall.
Country Music: Warrnambool District Country Music Group present a Country Music Spectacular featuring Vanessa Warra, Matt Manning, Cameron Mason and Leigh Moneghetti at Warrnambool Bowls Club starting at 1pm.
Think pink: The Whalers Hotel is hosting the Pink Up Your Town McGrath Foundation fundraiser from 1pm.
Gigs: Hotel Warrnambool is hosting the John Hudson Crew from 3pm.
