A woman has been charged with theft of a motor vehicle as well as bail offences in Portland this afternoon.

Acting Sergeant Vaughn said the woman, who was born in 1997, was arrested in Coolabah Court, Portland regarding the theft of a Toyota Landcruiser on October 6 in Portland.
The vehicle in question was bearing the registration stolen in Mount Gambier on October 3.
Acting Sergeant Vaughn said the woman is currently on four active counts of bail.
Portland police said the woman is expected to face Warrnambool Magistrates Court tomorrow. The woman will be held overnight by Warrnambool police.
