Richmond superstar Dustin Martin is proud the Tigers are backing AFL debutant Marlion Pickett to shine on the big stage in Saturday's title decider against GWS.

Martin opened his home to Pickett when he arrived in Melbourne from Perth in May after he was selected by the Tigers in the mid-season rookie draft.
After living together, Martin said he saw the potential in the 27-year-old and liked what he brought to the club as a player and as a person.
He said he was proud the Tigers had taken a chance on Pickett.
"He's a genuine caring person who's put his head down and worked hard and I couldn't be prouder of him and the club for giving him a chance," Martin told AAP.
Brought in to replace injured utility Jack Graham, Pickett will become the first player in 67 years to make his senior debut in a grand final.
After recovering from finger surgery, he only made his first VFL appearance in August and made an irresistible case for AFL grand final selection with a best-afield performance in Sunday's premiership victory over Williamstown.
Martin predicted that Pickett, who is the cousin of North Melbourne and Port Adelaide star Byron Pickett, would rise to the challenge at the MCG.
"It's special but he will be up to it so I'm looking forward to seeing what he can bring," Martin said.
