Foodshare's Dedy Friebe said the organisation wanted to thank everyone in the community for their donations.
"Everyone at Foodshare is inspired by the level of support the community shows the service," Mr Friebe said.
"We raised over $14,000 which is just incredible,
"This was from money tins, workplace whip-a-rounds, and people coming into the warehouse and going online to donate.
"A lot of schools had grocery runs which has brought us further product in."
Demand for hampers remains very high with a record 118 hampers or 1300 meals distributed this week, Mr Friebe said.
"We have been doing 260 meals per day, probably about four tonnes of food this week," he said.
"So you can see how quickly the two tonnes donated moves."
